We’re a member of AITO (The Specialist Travel Association) following an in-depth application process. As a quick overview, the membership is formed of companies, usually owner-managed like us, who create travel experiences with the highest levels of professionalism, quality travel experiences and excellent personal service. The Association also promotes the unique range of its members’ travel packages and encourages the highest standards in all aspects of tour operating. Our membership also dictates that we have financial protection for all our trips and other travel arrangements.

We’ve got you covered – Financial Protection through ABTOT

Adventurous Ewe Ltd is a member of ABTOT with membership number 5604. The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Adventurous Ewe Ltd. In the event of our insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages.

ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are not protected by ABTOT.

In the unlikely event that you require assistance whilst abroad due to our financial failure, please call ABTOT’s 24/7 helpline on 01702 811397 and advise you are a customer of an ABTOT protected travel company.

Secure online payments
All bookings can be made online with Mastercard, Visa and debit card or via BACS. You can also opt to pay via monthly instalments. We use Stripe to handle all our online payments as it is a payment platform which is one of the world leaders in payment processing offering superior security for both you and us as a company. 

Pay in instalments, interest free
We’re well aware that adventures can be a significant investment so we’ve set out to make it easy to afford. Once you’ve put down your deposit, you can pay the remaining balance off in monthly instalments with no extra charges so you can get out there and live your dream.

2. Travel insurance 

Travel Insurance is an important part of any booking. It is compulsory that everyone who travels with us has taken out adequate travel insurance which includes, among other things, cover for the full value of your trip, medical (emergency, evacuation and repatriation) arrangements, activities undertaken, personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects and pandemic travel cover.

As we gradually return to running trips, the safety and well-being of you, our leaders, crew, suppliers and the communities we visit, we will remain our top priority and our return to operations will be done in a safe and responsible way. We are also proud to be implementing ATTA’s COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines, developed in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, across all our trips. Please note, that our safety measures are not exhaustive and will evolve over time as we monitor and adapt to local and national public health recommendations and government guidelines.
